Mommy, I don’t want to grow up” is a work created to represent a desire and yearning to return to the old days, when the artist was a little girl, living in a world free from the chaos of today. Through the playful composition and the vibrant colours painted on the various toy-like shapes, the artist wish to create a whimsical object that reminds one of her youth and allowing the artist to celebrate the joys of childhood.
